Our commitment
MatchPoint KC wants this website to be usable by as many people as possible, whatever device or assistive technology they use. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA.
What we have done
- Every page can be used with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline and a skip link to the main content.
- Text and background colors were chosen to meet the 4.5:1 contrast ratio, including on the bookable court calendar.
- Photographs carry descriptive alternative text. Decorative graphics are hidden from screen readers.
- Headings run in order, forms label every field, and error messages say what to fix.
- Text resizes with your browser settings and the layout works from phone to desktop.
- Video plays without sound and respects your reduced motion preference.
Known limits
Court booking runs inside CourtReserve, a separate service we embed and link to. Its screens are built by CourtReserve, not by us. If you have trouble booking online, call (816) 224-7999 and the front desk will book the court for you.
