Pickleball is the easiest racquet sport to start and the hardest one to stop. Ours are indoors and climate controlled, so there is no wind to blame and no season to wait out.
Come as a four, come as a two, or come on your own. Locker rooms and showers are here, the lounge is here, and parking is easy.

Court time is $15 an hour. Unlimited pickleball is $40 a month. Play three hours in a month and you have already spent $45, more than a full month of unlimited play.

A pickleball court is small on purpose. Two service boxes a side, a low net, and a seven foot strip either side of it called the kitchen. Hover any area below and it will tell you what it does.

First time here
Nobody is watching you.
Honestly. Everybody on these courts was new at some point, most of them recently. The rules take one game to learn, the scoring takes two, and you will hit a good shot in the first ten minutes.
If you would rather start with a coach than with strangers, a lesson is the shortcut. If you would rather just play, book a court and bring whoever you can talk into it.

The long game
It starts as one game.
Nobody plays pickleball once. You come for a court with a friend, and a few months later it is the thing you plan your week around and the people you plan it with.

You are playing on day one
The rules take one game, the scoring takes two, and you will hit a shot worth talking about inside ten minutes.

Then it gets deep
Dinking, resets, stacking, reading a partner. The game is easy to start and genuinely hard to master, which is the whole appeal.

You get a group
Doubles is a social sport by design. You will know the names of a dozen regulars before you know your own rating.

The sport travels
Open play, leagues and tournaments run all over the country now. A paddle in the car turns any trip into a game.

What should I bring my first time?
Comfortable athletic clothes and trainers with a flat, non marking sole. That covers everything you need for your first visit.
Do I need my own paddle?
No. We have paddles and racquets you can borrow if you are just getting started, so come as you are and use ours until you know what you like.
How do I get on a court?
Reserve your time in our CourtReserve portal, our online booking system, or call (816) 224-7999 and we will book it for you. Everyone playing signs a liability waiver before their first time on court, which takes a minute at the front desk.
Is there instruction available if I have never played?
Yes. Private and group lessons are built for exactly this, and a coach will have you playing points in your first session. Explore lessons.
Can adults really start pickleball from zero experience?
Yes, and most of the people you will play with started the same way, recently. The rules take one game to learn and the scoring takes two, so you are playing on day one. What keeps people is everything after that: a skill with no ceiling, a group of regulars, and leagues and open play running in every city in the country once you want to travel with it.
